' (To tho Edi^r.'i Sir,—l came a great many miles-as did many others—to enjoy the music of this admittedly great orchestra, and 1 have had full value for each ten shillings. Having a loose end to-night, which I did not expect, 1 again made my way tu \thc booking office, and asked for a downstairs (six shillings) seat. To my surprise, ten shillings was demanded, and in reply (o my protest 1 was carliy informed that all seats were now ten shillings. Judging by the comments of other would-be patrons I was not .alone i.i n\v indignation. • Whatever the reason for tin's breach of faith, it leaves a very bad taste in one's mouth, and effectually destroys one's pleasant recollections of the mush;.—l am, etc. ■ COUNTRY. fWd have had a number of similar complaints. It would seem that the number of lower-priced seats available to patrons ha« been restricted, and with the increasing demand many would-b.o jiatrons have suffered disappointment.]
