In' a circular issued by the English Board of Education to local authorities, it is stated that there are 12,500 schools which have war savings associations reenlarlv affiliated to the National War Saviues Committee, and two large administrative counties have each 1500 school associations, through which over half a million' war saving certificates have been sold in i.ach county.
