Messrs. Abraham and Williamß, Ltd., held their Marlon sale on Tuesday, when heavy yardings of both sheep and cattle caiuo forward. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report having a '.cry good entry of both sheep ana cattle at their Folding sale- on Friday, which sold under good competition at advanced prices. Distributing Co., Ltd., report having held 11 verv succcsßful clearing sale of Mr. Murphy's dairy herd at liapanui,. on I Thursday. The cows were a specially I well-bred lot, and came forward in excellent condition. Bidding was excep- : tionally spirited, prices ranging Trom £12 10s. to £26 55., the whole herd averaging £.16 lis. The snme firm also report holding their Taihape sale on January 21. when a total yarding of "166 sheep and 27 cuttle came forward. With the exception of two pens of sheep and the cattle the whole varding was cleared under the hammer.
