Sneaking on this matter, tlio president of (lie Board of Trade tMr. Massey) said that arrangements had been made to control (he distribution of cement so as to enable the most urgent works to bo supplied in order of importance. Representatives nf the cement industry have informed Mr. Massey that thev expect, when the scheme is brought into effect this week, that a groat many of the existing- difficulties will be overcome.
