Tho two men who thu'enmo so mominently under the notice of tho larxe assembly of visitors at the hostelry completed the ascent and descent in just over live hours. Tho area under indigo in Madras for 1919-20 is estimated at G5,!500 acre*, against 111,700 acres last year, and lh« jield at about 500 tons.
