SIR DAVID HUTCIILXS, KT,
Anion? the New Year honours conferred by His Majesty the King is the title of Knight Bachelor given to Mr. David finest llutchms, in recognition of'his services to forestry in the Empire.
Sir David llutchins is at present resident at Khandallah, and has bet-n engaged for some time in preparing a valuable report for the Government upon forestry in Now Zealand. He luid previously rendered distinguished service to the Governments of India, South Africa, and Australia in matters relating to forestry.
