WELLINGTON SURF ASSOCIATION
A special general meeting of tihe Wellington Surf Association was hold at the Y.JI.C.A. last week, Mr. G. S. Hill occupying the chair. Tho following officers for the ensuing year wero elected:— President, Mr. J. P. Firth; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. T. M. Wilford, M.P., G. W. T. Beckett, J. L. Turner, W. W. Rowntreo, J. Faster, nn<l L. S. Wabler; chairman, Mr. (i. S. Hill; secretary, Mr. XV. Gerrio; treasurer, Mr, E. E. Small; auditor, Mr. AY. C. Collier; consul, Mr. Ralph Smith; chief examiner, Mr. J. A. Unffy. It was decided that tho Surf Shield Competition should be held at Lyall Bay on the evening of January 31. Tho conditions for the Wablor Trophy were approved, and Messrs. Bell, Soruortille, and Binns wore elected as judges. It was decided that tho competition for the Wahier Trophy will take place during the course- of tho Worsor Bay Club's carnival at Worser Bay on Anniversary Day,
