The engineers of tho Wnihora, which vesterdav arrived at Newcastle from Vancouver, to-day gave notice. They are on the Australian articles. Reuort.s from Melbourne state that the negotiations towards a settlement of the engineers' strike have not been broken off. The parties met again to-day. One unofficial report states that there is a probability of the vessels being manned on Monday.—Press Assn.
