LONDON WOOL SALES
Messrs. Murray, Koborts and Co., Ltd, have received the following cablegram from their London agents, Messrs. Sanderson, Murray and Co., under date January 12:—"Hales have opened. Crossbred medium, market shows r.o change; crossbred line, market shows no change; crossbred coarse, dosing rales of last series arc barely maintained." The Department of Agriculture. Industries, and Commerce has received the following cablegram, dated January 13. from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:—"Ninth series Government weal sales commenced last night, with large attendance of buyers and good compeli* tion. Prices compared with ctosinc rates last series:—Merinos, par to 5 per cent, dearer; crossbreds, fine, firm and unchanged; medium and coarse scarcely maintained; 100.CC0 bales shown wool's available for series, of which 27,803 aro New Zealand; also 42,500 on description of which 11,500 are New Zealand." i Messrs.
