,"*.,...'•. :.. ■ : « - "HARBOUR CLUB'S REUNION. ' The fifth annual reunion of the Wellington Harbour Board's Miniature Eitle Club was held at tho Old Navals boat-. •< shed last evening, Mr. H. E. Nichoils (secretary-to.tho Harbour Board) presiding ovari'a very largo attendance. Among those-present wore:—Messrs. J. G. Harkness (chairman' of the board), R. A. . Wrighty M.P., C. 11. Chapman,' C 11. Osmond. (president of the Wellington "•Miniature Rifle Association), and J. M'Nio (Wellington South Aiini attire Rifle Club). Major D. J. Gibbes. D.5.0., and Captain A.- V. H. Monro (chief . .wharfinger)." ' The prizes won by the members during tho season were presented by tho chairman as follows:— Club champion for 1919, C. M'Donald, -.with/a gun score of 1-187, possible 1540; average 67.6 (75 per cent, of all associa•■tion'matches and club trophies). Takes champion cup and President H. E. Nicholls's trophy. Runner-up, J. M. ißtissell, with a gun score of 1480; averago 67.3. Takes Vice-President E. Bull's trophy. . Vice-President A.' G. Barnetfs trophy was offered for tho first possible on homo range and wa9 won by 0. Prince. Vice-President J. Marchbank's handicap trophy (four shoots, three to .Tount)--Winner, M. Stack, gun score 189, with 'handicap 203.5, possible 210. Second .prize, R. H-. Bigarlsford. Third prize, E. Sutherland. Aggregate, J. M. Russell (197), "Daily Express" medal. Vice-President A. V. Hale Monro's handicap trophy (best four shoots, July to Angust)—Winner. C. Prince, gup scoro 271, with handicap 275.9, possibfo 280. Second prize, H. Prince. Aggregate, C. Prince (Lord Roberts's medal). Vice-President J. E. Gamble's trophy (six shoots, four to count)—Winner-C. M'Donald, gun scoro 274, with handicap 275.9, possiblo 2SO. Second prize, J. M. Russell; aggregate, C. M'Donald (Bell medal). No. 1 sweepstake match—C. M'Donald, "Daily Mai" certificate. No. 2 sweepstake match-C. Prince, "Daily Telegraph" certificate. Office trophy (four shoots, thrco to count)— Winner, J. M. Russell, gun scoro 205, with handicap 205.45, possiblo 210. Second prize, H. Prince, aggregate, J. M. Russell, club trophy. . The office shield was ■ won by tho /Mechanics' Department after defending it twice successfully against offico and traffic manager's department teams. Tho club entered a team in the Wellington Miniature Riflo Association intsrctnb competition, finishing up in sixth placo. Individual mcmbors.also entered for association trophies, J. M. Russell ■ annexing Mrs. Stickles's trophy with tho .creditable score in the shoot-off (four shoots, three to count) of 200, possiblo 210; H. Prince, 203, tieing for third place; C. M'Donald, fourth, 201. J. M. Russell also won tho club aggregate in this competition. . Membors also entered for tho associa/tion's championship meoting at Buckle Street, C. Prince tieing with another for second place, in the rapid firo match, and L. P. Wrigley, after a shoot-off with three others winning President Osmond's consolation match. Tho club team at this meeting gained fourth place. A match was also fired with a team from H.M.S. New Zealand under Chief Gunner Whiting, tho battleship's team winning by 30 joints. - The following toasts were honoured:— "Tho King," "The Club," "The Champion and Prize-winners," "Tho Wellington Harbour Board and Donors of Prizes." "The Wellington Miniature Riflo Association," "Kindred Clubs," and "The Press." Musical items were contributed bv tho following:—Messrs. A. Williams, C. D. Culverwell. F. Campbell, Ajax Bros., N. Ewart, J. Connell, C. M'Athy, Campbell, E. Green, A. V. H. Monro, N. Austin, and W. A. Edwards.
