$ ON PACIFIC COAST OF AMERICA. Seattle (Washington), December. .The largest and most powerful wireless station on the Pacific Const commanding sufficient power to communicate with the Hawaiian Islands, Arctic Alaska and probably the Orient, will bo in operation early next year at Keyport, Washington, across Puget Sound from Seattle. The station, towering dflO feet iu height, was ordered to bo built by the United States Bureau of Yards and Docks of tho Navy. It will bo completed within 180 days. The structure will ba of steel, ninety feet in diameter at its base and fivo feet at the apex of the 400-foot tower. The contract also calls for the wiring of the station, but Government radio experts will install tho radio apparatus. 'The establishment of the Keyport station will assist materially coastwiso, trans-Pacific and Alaska shipping, and tho project will be a valuable addition to tho naval strength of Pugct Sound;
