Reardon, a member who has only recently returned from a trip to California. On the motion of the chairman (Mr. C. AVatson). the V'ctoria 'College Council last night passed a resolution of iegret at the death of Mr. C. B. M'orison, K.C., and sympathy with their deceased colleague's relatives. The chairman mado feeling reference to the late Mr. Morison's connection with the. University, ho having ,-nt for many years on tho council. At all tines he had proved himself to be a very earnest and enthusiastio member. Mr. E. J. Wilson, M.A., B.Sc, of the TJniversily of Perth, AA T .A., hiw been appointed lecturer in modern languages lo A r ictoria College. Mr. Wilson is a New Zcalander, and was educated at Canterbury College.
