DROWNED WHILE BATHING
,By Tcleeraajh—Presß Apsociation.' Napier, January 12. Percy Brandon Jones, a motor garage proprietor of Napier, was drowned in the Tutackuri River while bathing. He was picnicking with his wife and children and when bathing, with two of his children they got into difficulties. Jones, who was a strong swimmer, was droivned in comparatively shallow water. The children floated down the river to safety. His wife witnessed the distressing occurrence. An inquest was held this afternoon, and a verdict of accidental death by drowning was returned.
