At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Cricket Association further consideration of tho proposal to institute a North v. South Island match was held over till the next quarterly meeting. Challenges for the Heathcote Williams Shield were received and accepted from Christchurch and Napier Boys' High Schools. In connection with visits from Australian teams, it was decided to forward .1 letler to the Board of Control suggestin? that. Australia should send teams to New Zealanl every two years, and that New Zenla'id should send a team to Australia every six years.
