ARRIVAL OF TROOPS
JttfiOMA'S DRAFT DISE.MI3ARJCA The transport Kigoma, with returning draft No. 295, berthed at the Glasgow Wharf yesterday afternoon a "clean" fillip. The vessel was met by .i large gathering of next-of-kin, and the Patriotic Society's Band dispensed appropriate selections as the troops, who were all in good health, disembarked. The vessel brought 311 ofliccrs and men, a largo number of ofliccrs' and n.c.o.'s wives, 30 children, and 28 civilian passengers. Throughout the voyage, which was commenced front London on November 18 last, good weather was experienced. Calls were made nt Port Said, Colombo, Albany, and Sydney. There were no casualties, and all on board apparently had an enjoyable trip. The Auckland troops left by a special train last night, and the southern troop; travelled to their homes by the Maori.
