WARTS ON CATTLE

It not at all an uncommon occurrence for warts to follow ringworms on calves, especially if tho ringworms have not been dispersed or cured by proper treatment (says the "Live Stock Journal"). 'Bit is an undeniablo fact that when carves rub and scratch themselves with a rough metallic substance, the development of warts k encouraged if there is already a tendency for these to form. Rub on the following ointafent; once-each doy: Powdered muriate of ammonia, one part; sulphur, one part; Stockholm tar, one part; and vaseline, two parts. Mix thoroughly and apply with a still' brush. Should this not succeed in removing tho whole of the warts, those that remain had better be taken off with a sharp knife and tho roots seared with a hot iron to check ur.due bleeding and prevent the warts growing again.
