The chamnion singles was won byEobson (Komuera), who beat Gninths Eemuera) in the final, 0-0, 6-1, 0-0. Hobson beat Wilding in tho third round, 5-6, 6-5. 8-G. , ~ . . ~ Tn the men's handicap singles. A Grade. .Mitchell and N. Smith (both of Tiotorua) won the semi-finals. In the 1} Grade <emi-finals Wyllie (Papatectoe) beat Elliott (Auckland), and Kill (Rotorua) bent Biemacki (Auckland). . In the men's champion doubles Griffiths and E. Ohlson (Auckland) and Bartlet t and Webster (Auckland) won tho semi-finals. The final will be played in Auckland. Tn the ladies champion singles. Miss Pavton beat Miss Weston in a semiI' 1 " 1 ' 1 ■ • , ~ The ladies champion doubles was won bv Mrs. Marshall (l'aevoa) and Miss Marion- Macfarla'ne (Auckland), beating Mrs. Gordon (Masterton) and Miss Payton (Remuera). 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
