RUGBY CONTROL
INTERNATIONAL BOARD PROPOSAL SUPPORTED.
> By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, January G. At a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union the recommendations of the Australasian Conference were considered. It was decided to support the, establishment of an international board of control, and to agree to the appointment of Mr. W. W. Hill, of Sydney, as central secretary. The alterations to the laws of the game were not approved, this course -being taken in order that Hip matter might bo hold in abayanco pending the formation of Ihe international board of-con-trol. It was decided to urge the New Zealand Union to invito South Africa to send a team to tour the Dominion this vpa r.
