PRIVATE LOANS TO EUROPE
AUSTRIA AND GERMANY TO BENEFIT. Copenhagen, January 4. A Not? York banker, interviewed in Berlin, said that Austria and Germany would share largely in the proposed 'biff loans to Europe, for which America's official sanction was not needed. It was a case, ho said, of business men lending money for business purposes, to be used to purchase foods and raw material.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
