AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong south-east winds northward of Now l'lymoiith and Napier and southerly breezes elsewhere, veering shortly to westerlies and northorlies. Fair weather may be expected generally, but cloudy at limcß, especially in tho northern and southernmost districts. Barometer little movement. Atmospheric pressure has- increased everywhere, and coii-therly winds have prevailed, with decreasing force. Ilalu fell hißt night in tho liortliern and East Coast districts of the North Island, and the weather has been cold and changeable generally, but improving to-day. B. Y. fE.UBERTON.
