The seventh annual tournamont of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association will commence on Thursday, at 9.30 a.m. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday tho Doubles Championship will be played. Tho Rinks Championship competitions will commence at 9 a.m. on Monday, and the Champion Singles 'competition on Friday, January 16, at 9 a.m.
The Champion Singles will bu played on the. two-life system, and each player when he has been beaten twice will drop out of tho competition. The Champion Doubles competition will be on the sectional sj'stwn, each player being ' guaranteed five games. At the end of the sectional play, sectional fie» will be played off.. If there are only two ties, 21 heads will be played, hut if thero are more than two only 12 heads \rill be played. The Champion Kinks competition will be played on the sectional system, three games of 21 heads to be played each day. After nine game 3 have been played those who continue play will be section winners. After the conclusion of the section play the full two-life' \ principlo will bo applied to all teams ', left in tho competition. Each team " when twice beaten will drop out of the competition. Already many visiting bowlers have arrived in the city.
