WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION CONCLUSION OF NEW YEAR MEETING The annunl prize meeting of the Wellington liille Association was concluded at Trentham yeMcrday, in beautiful weather. . Conditions were idqal for shooting, and over the long ranges, particularly at 800 and 000 yards, some high scores wero made. In the Suburbs match at SOO yards the possible of 50 was put up by Rflmn. E. Ballinger, of the Petono Club, whilst his father, the veteran Rflmn. Arthur Ballinger, was runner-up with '19. The championship of the meeting was won by Deputy-President IT. T. Boon, of the Suburbs Club, whose aggregate scoro was 2115. • Ho won tho association's gold medal and a cash prize of ,£ls. Rflmn. E. Ballinger, of Petone. was the runner-up with a total score of 2u3. He" was awarded JCIO. Rflinn, C. I{, Morris, of the Petono Rifle Club, compiled tho highest aggregate score (137) at the 300, 500, nnd 600 yards ranges, and won tho Licensed Victuallers' Cup. Mr. R.
