'I'lie attendance at thy Park ■'Racecourse totalled 3000. Last evening the comimttee considered a protest by Findlav. who came second in the running lone: jump championship, on the ground that tho event was not held according to conditions. To-day the committee decided that the event should he held nsain. tho result being that P. Findlay (Napier) jumped 17ft. !)in., beating I!.
