DRIBBLE WINS STOIMER HANDICAP. By Telegraph—Special Correspondent. Hastings, January 2. The second day of (he Ilav.-ke's Bay Jockey Club's meeting was held in tine weather. The attendance was good. The totalisator put through t KIG,7SO, ns coinnared with .£22,577 on the corresponding (lav of the last summer meeting, or nn increase of .£14,203. The sum of JJ72.75S was put through for both days, comnared with .£43,574 at last year's meeting, on increase of Sfaraetotara and Slumix were taken nut of tiie .lumpers' Flat Handicap, Zeus being made favourite, with Tuticorn and Fisher in that order. A perfect start, saw Lord Muskerry take up the running, and he led the favourite anil Palm Oil down the back, with Lovematch well back. Hounding Ihe bend tile l.Tit-iinuied moved up. Lord Muskerry was still ill command at tho distance. but Dribble finished Iho better, and won bv a bare neck. Loveinatch was four lengths awav All but Martini 'niid Ennca started in the Nursery Handicap. Gasbag was made a firm fa'vourite, despite the fuel that he vrn-i obviously above himself. Handv and Verbosity led into the straight from Hex, with tho top-weight next. When it came to finishing, Handy won bv a., length from Verbosity, while Pent? beat' Gasbag on the post. .Mountain Chief showed pate, but did not finish mi_ and Pente w:ts going better at tho finish than at any other stage of tho rare. Asterina and Hymarty were the favourites in the Scurry, but neither filled a nlace. Giianaco and Hepta were the quickest to begin, and Hepta led the field into the straight!, with Manila handy. At the distance the trio named, Hymarty, and Asteri'ia. were prominent, but in tho run home Guanaco won by a head from Maruia. with Hepta a/eclc away.'
