MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE
FIVE PERSONS INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Asßociation. Invercargill, January 2. A serious motor smash occurred at AVallacetown yeMerday, at an intersection of roads., Cars travelling at about 25 miles an hour collided, one being turned over three or four times. The five occupants, who were injured and re- . niftved to the hospital, were:—Eileen Fitanatrick, aped four years (fractured . skull)"; Miss M'Artliur," aged twenty (fractured collarbone); J. Purdie (broken leg); J. Cole (dislocated arm); and .T. H. Thomas (injuries to the back and shouldeus). The condition of the girl is serious, but the others are not in a dangerous state.
