DANGEROUS CATS
$ Cats aro dying in' hundreds in England from an unidentified disease. Post-mor-tem examinations, says Captain K. (i. Fairholmc, secretary of the I'oval Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, failed lo discover any traces of poison, but thcro is evidence of gastric disorder. Tho cats sicken, becomo paralysed, and dio in a couple of days. In view of a possible return of inllucnzn it would be prudent to regard the cat as a dangerous animal, writes n medical correspondent of an English journal. If a cat or a dog sneezes or shows any signs of illness it should bo avoided.
