ANNUAL SPORTS GATHERING. A largo number of people attended the Hutt Recreation Ground yesterday to witness tho annual sports meeting held in connection with the Hutt Amateur Athletic Club. 11. E. Wilson (the champion hurdler) was again seen in his best form in Hie 120 Yards Hurdle Handicap, his exhibition Iwiiig an excellent one. V. R. Bond, who secured 7 points at the meeting, will hold tho club cup for tho ensuing year. Barring a temporary fniltiro of the electric light plant, tlie whole affair was managed to a nicety. Among tho?e contributing items wero Mr. and Mrs. Farcjuhar Young, Mr. Larry Hall, and the two small chnmmon dancers, the Misses Thelma 'M'Kenzie (who cave classical dance?) and Phyllis M'Millan (who sang and danced). The Pipe Band rendered ft march prior to the openmrr of tho first part of the performance. After the concert an injjlesidc wns held in Iho Caledonian rooms. r>
