LINCOLN'S ENGLISH ANCESTORS

In tho beautiful parish church of Bingham, in Norfolk, a bust of Abraham Lincoln, the gift -of citizens of '.ho United States, has been unveiled. Hingha.m is the hove of Lincoln's ancestors. Carved in stone beneath the niche, which holds the bust, is the following inscription:— In this parish for many genorat.ous Lived the Lincolns, Ancestors of the American, >i ABRAHAM LINCOLN, Tn him, greatest, of that lineage, Many citizen's of the United _ States ' Have erected this memorial, In tiio hope that for all ages, Between that land and This land and all lands, There shall b<> "Malice towards none, Willi charity to all."
