NIAGARA FOR VANCOUVER. Tho Union Company advised last evening that the Niagara is now scheduled to leave Auckland on January 7 for Suva, Honolulu, and Vancouver. MOANA AND TOFUA. A Press Association message from Dunedin states that the Tofua arrived at Papeete on' December 24 from San Francisco, and 6a'lcd on tho morning of December 26 for liarotonga and Wellington. She is due nt Wellington on January 4. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line, Ltd., announced yesterday that in future the steamers of the line will have their funnels painted '.he colours, of the parent company—the Cunard ISteam Snip Co., Ltd.—viz., red, with black top and three uarr_ow black bands. Tho schooner Louis Theriault was clenrcd at the Customs yesterday. She has 2E0.000 feet of timber on board for Adelaide, and after discharge at tho South Australian port she will load a caruo of salt back to Wellington. Tho _ Blenheim, in to sail to-day for D'Urvillo Island and the Sounds for wool. Sho is due back on Thursday, and ou Friday oho will go to Picton for sheen. The Kaituna, now at Auckland, will, after discharge, go to Newcastle. According to the Sydney "Shipping List" the following steamers have been chartered:—West Humhaw, 4769 tons, New York to New Zealand ami/or Australia; John Roach, New York to New Zealand, and/or Australia—both with general cargo. The Waimea is <luc to-day from Wanganui, and is to load for Wcstport, Greymouth, and Hokitika. After discharge of her San Francisco cargo the Kurow is to go into deck at Port Chalmers for survey and overhaul. Tho Durham arrived in tho Mersey on December 16 from Wellington.
