The "New York Times" Washington correspondent stales that-the second National Industrial Conference inado a statement that no (jove'-imieivt employees concerned in the Administration of justice or public safety should bo permitted to join organisations which authorise the ii.se of strikes. The conferonce suggested the formation of twelve regional boards of inquiry for tho adjustment of industrial disputes, with a national industrinl tribunal which would hear appeals from tho regional boards — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
