NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT. The seventh, annual champion bowling tournament, under the coirtrol of the Dominion Association will bo held in Christ church, commencing on January 8. Splendid entries havo been received, totalling 224 m the pairs,. 126 in the rinks, and 181 in the singles: The tournament will be opened with the pairs games on lhursdav. January 8, tho rinks will start on Monday January 12, and tho singles on January 10. The finals in all divisions should bo pla3'od on Saturday, January 17. "ladies' Day" will be held on tha Canterbury jrrcon on January 10, tho nlavcrs will be taken for n motor picnic on Sunday, January 11, and a social evening will bo held on the eveninjf.of January U. The North v. South match will bo played on Ladies' Day on tho.Canterbury green. Prom Wellington the followinz clubs have entered teams for tho rink championship-.—Wellington Club. 8; Victoria, ,1; To Hiwi, 2; Newtown. 2: Kelburn. 2; Hatnitai, 2; Island Bay, Lyall Bay, Petono, and Thorndon, 1 each.
