TOR APPLES AND RABBITS. The Prime Minister (Mr. Massey) has received a communication from the Imperial Board of Trade to the effect that during the present export season space in outward vessels will be found for (iti.OOO eases of apples, and also for 4000 foac of frozen rabbits. This news will be very welcome to ■tuple sroivors, who have been gravely Concerned about the marketing »>f their crop of the cominp; season. Tho provision to bo made for rabbits is important to those pai'i'S of New Zealand where rabbit trapping is an industry The prosent prices of skins make trapping very profitable, but stocks of rabbits have already been lielcl in store for some time, and the owners of tho rabbits have been pressin? to have them exported.
