The "Daily News" circumstantially predicts an election in February, and says that the abandonment of I lie Coal and AiiLi-Diimpinsf Bills ami tho postponement of Homo llule are part of the election plans, because they would havo produced divisions in the Coalition if proceeded with. Also, if Labour persists in tho promised ca-mpaicn for the nationalisation of mines in February ami the threatened renewal of industrial strife occur?, the Government will go to tho country on an antvlabour policy. Tho "Daily News" adds that the 'Government's decision to prorogue Parliament before Christmns instead of adjourning is due to tho possibility of an election.]
