DUPLICATION LONG OVERDUE. (Roc. December 23, 9.15 p.m.) Sydney, December 23. Referring to Mr. Lloyd George's cabled statement, Sir Joseph Cook declared that another Pacific cablo and the duplication of tho Atlantic connecting cablo wero both long overdue. The matter of Empire communications was daily becoming more imperative, and it was high time a forward movement was begun.—Press Assn.
