The Walrarapa ■Farmers' Co-operativo Association Ltd. report on their Carterton sale, held on Friday:—We offered a heavy yarding of sheep, cattle, and pigs to .a good attendanco. Prices were:—Light fat two-tooths. 275. 6(1. to 28b.;| small two-tooth wethers, 15s. 6d., 165., 18s., to 18s. lid.; empty eweß, 19a.; springing cows, £9 10s. to £10; backward springing heifers, £6 2s. 6d.; forward store cows, £7 10s.,- £7 135., £7 155., to £8 55.; backward Btore cows, £4 to £5 10s.; three-year coloured steers, £7 to £9 10s.; heavy porkem. £4 ss. to £4 12s. 6d.; good porkers, £3 2s. to £3 165.; light good porkers, 50s. The New Zealand Loan and Mcrcantilo Agency Company Limited report for week ending December 20:-On Monday at Opuliake there was an average yarding of cattle, which met with good demand. Prices wefe:-Store pigs, £2 lis. to £2 155.; weaner pigs, 305.; fat cows, £11 10s. to £12 18s.; extra, prime fat cows, £16; store cowe, £8 ss. to £10 55.; light cows, £6 to £7 10s.; lit teen-month steers, to £4; yearling heifers, £5 2s. 6d.; dairy cows, £9; heifers, £5 2s. 6d. to.£9 10s. On Tuesday at Manilla there was a further iucreaao in the number of oattlo yarded. Prices were on a par with late sales We quote :- Weaner pigß, good, 355.; small Btoro pigs, £2 13s. 6U; store lambs, lls.-5d.; bulls, £6 17a. 6d.-to £8 155.; fat heifers, £10 Bb. «<!.; forward cows, £11 to £11 55.; store cows, £6 12s. 6d. to £8 Us. On Friday at Palmer lioad there was a Email yarding of cattle, which sold at late rates:—Store cows,'£7 10b. to £10 13s. On the same day at Waverley we had a .small yarding. Prices wcro:-Storo cows, £7 Is. to £10.
