The Executive issues tho following recommendation to Members:—When a Member is outraged to ride at a meeting, away from his home town he should keep himself available to attend tho race track on the race morning to n'de work if the Trainer or Owner of the horse or horses be has engaged to ride notifies him to do so the (lay before, and pays all his reasonable expenses of gainer to the race track and 'eturning therefrom to his lodging. In the interests of the safety of the Members of the As-ociarkm Ihe Executive issues tho following ;eoommcndation:—When an engagement to ride in a race, is offered it shall bo accepted upon' tho terms that the Jockey is entitled to cancel the engagement before being ordered to mount if the number of starters in that race will cause tho space available at the starting barrier for each horse competing to l>e less than four feet.
