TRENTHAM MILITARY HOSPITAL
ARRANGEMENTS, About one hundred and twenty men will be in the Trentham Military Hospital during (ho Christmas holidays, and elaborate arrangements' have been made for their erteftninnicnt. On Christmas Dav special faro will bo provided; and in the afternoon a concert party, under Mr. W. C. Gomlie, of tho Y.M.C.A., will visit. Ihe wards. In the evening there will bo a Christmas tree in tho Red Cross Clubroom. covered with suitable eifts. Mrs. Luke and a party of ladies have already Iwcn round the wards and distributed a Christmas gift to each man. On the davs'following the usual picnics and outings arranged by tho nurses and the Red Cross Club will be held, and on Wednesday tho patients will be taken, to the various bowling greens in tho district, and will be allowed their use for the day. Arrangements have yet to be made for New Year's Day. Anart from the hospital men, there will be about eighty other men in camp. No special arrangements have been made for these, as it is expected that on tho holidays about three-quarters of thom will bo riven leave.
