It is alleged that the wife received money, jewels, and furniture, belonging to Landru's victims and profited by ihe realisation of the 'fortune of one victim, the widow Buisson, by posing as Houisson in the presence of' a banker while Landru simultaneously posed as her brother-in-law, Buisson. Both signed ihe transfer of Buisson's securities. The wife acted in a similar way in order to withdraw the bank deposits of other victims—Renter.
