Notice is hereby given that, at a Special Meeting of fillo Wellington City Council, hold on tl:e 18th day of DECEMBER. 1019, the following resolution was passed:— That the Wellington City Council, pursuant to tlie provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Acf"._ 1908," and its amendments, "'The Wellington City Empowering Act, IMS, Amendment Act, 1915." "The Local Bodies Loans Ael, 11)13," and every other authority in that behalf it enabling, doth herein' resolve by way of SPECIAL ORDER: 1. That a Special Loan of X 30.000 (to 1)3 known as the Wellington City, Melrose, Wadestown. and Northland Districts Drainage Loan, 1019), bo raised by the Wellington City Council, for the following purposes:— (a) The provision of a, system 'of drainage for the Melrose District and for the Wadcstown and Northland Districts. (1)) For recouping all moneys expended prior to "the raising l of this loan by tho Mayor, Councillor-", and Citizens of the Oily of Wellington for tho said purposes other than moneys produce/1 by the special loan of one hundred thousand pounds mentioned in the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1008, Amendment Act, 1015. 2. That till** rate of interest on the said loan be Five pounds five shillings (.£5 55.) iwr centum, payable half-yearly, at Wellington, on the first days of September and March of every year during tho currency of the lean. S. That a. sinking fund of one pound (I'D per centum per annum be established in connection with tho said loan. 4.
