STERN MEASURES WTTH PROFITEERS ADVOCATED. Washington, December 17. Tho Attorney-General, Mr. Palmer, has opened a '[cost of living crusade." Ho warned Mayors and prosecuting attorneys to "hang criminal profiteers as high as Hainan. Go after these devils! The country needs to quit fighting and get to work for maximum production." Mr. Palmer advocates that men should wear old clothes until the present priccs drop.—Renter.
