PEACE TERMS TO THE BALTIC STATES
SECRET CLAUSES INSERTED
(By Telegraph-Press Association-Couyriglit (Rec. December 21, 5.5 p.m.) London, December IS. Tho correspondent of the Australian Press Association learns that the Bolsheviki inserted threo secret clauses in the peace terms with tho Baltic States. (1) Relations must cease -with all . the States at war with tho Soviet. These include the Entente and Finland. • (2) Expulsion of all foreign warships from the northern Baltic. (3) The opening of tho Baltic ports to tho Bolsheviki, with Reval as a free port; The GermaJi evaouation of tho Baltic is now completed. Although there is no authentic information it is believed that tho Bolsheviki havo occupied Kieff. Their advance continues uninterruptedly. The Bolsheviki, however, are confronted with internal difficulties. Sixteen thousand workmen and peasants rebelled at Bryansk. The Bolsheviki continue their successes W East Russia. They havo occupied Novonikolniev, four hundred miles east of Moik —Aue-.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
