In view of tho splendid service rendered to tho Allies by Serbia from the very beginning of tho war it is remarkable tint her total of fatal casualties should be less than those lof Rumania. Tn regard to the French casualties it, may he noted that they include those of her . coloured colonial trams, which, espec'-nlly in the last year of the war, were very heavy.
