During this week tho" annual cricket match between the Wellington and Wanganui Colleges was played at Wangaxui. and Wellington secured th? victory by the narrow maTgin of two wickets. The Wanganui eleven compiled 14S rims in their first innings, and to this' Wellington replied with 173. A total of ljil runs was.-reached by the local team in their second turn at the wickets, making a grand total of 302.
