WELLINGTON CLTJD. Tho annual meeline of the Amatpur Swimminpr Club was held at the y.M.C.A. on Thursday. Mr. A. A. Pomcrvillo presided over a. good attendance of member. The report and. financial statement of last season was received, and the club starts t-ho PTesont season with a small cwdit balance. All Uiroii"h tho war period the club carried on its work, particularly amon K the junior members, and each year a successful carnival was held in To Aio Laths, and fair sums raised for worthy ooiccts The ensuing season nrpmiscs to ix> one of the most successful in tho club's history- The official opening of the senson will take place early m tho New Year, ,when tho various club cups will be competed for.
