TELEGRAPH LINESMAN'- ELECTROCUTED. By Telegraph—Press .Association. ■ Auckland, December 17. A telegraph linesman named Alexander Anderson, while at work on a ladder in Eden Terrace, came in contact with a high-tension wire, and was killed instantly. A companion, on whom lie fell, was slightly injured. DEATH FROM INJURIES. Taumaruniii, December 1". A Dalmatian, aged twenty-five years, named Male Antunovitch, was injured while working on railway construction works at Matiere on Friday last, and died at Taumarnnui Hospital early this morning. Deceased, while attempting to unhitch a horse from a truck, was knocked down and dragged along under the front of theUrucb MOTOR-CYCLE FATALITY. By Telegraph— Press Association. Christchurcli, December 17. A young man named Richard Joseph Barrett, tho eldest son of Mr. J. S. Barrett, a well-known Christchurcli solicitor, was found on Tuesday evening lying unconscious beside his motor cycle on tho liicearton road. Ho was removed to hospital and died this afternoon. It is believed that. his', motor-cycle skidded. Deceased, who was II) years of age, was a student of Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, and was educated at St. Bcde's Collegiato School.
