It was qmto evident that the supporters of Reform did not require his service, and he. would b» content to go back to his former mode of life and keep out of the hurly-burly of politics. Mr. Wilford thanked the. electors from the "Chronicle" building for having returned him. and Mr. Pritohnrd returned thanks to those who had supported him.
