SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The excitement of the election hour dirt not hinder the seafarer from a most enjoyable evening at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday, when .Miss Violet Mueller Dresented an attractive programme. Tho performers were: Mrs. .Cox, the Misses Troon, E. Griffiths, Esau. Griffiths, Hodgson, Jl'lntyrc, Garshoock. O'Brien, V, Mueller, ano. Messrs. Podia, Galiichan, Manning (Rnranaai Mi's. Cox.was at the piano. Mr, Moore, missioner, spoke, on "Tips for To-morrow," and pledges followed. The competitions were up to the usual standard, prizes coming from tho hostess, and went to the Barangn. Hospitality and cheers closed a happy evening.
