In reply to an inquiry the Prime Minister lias" intimated that when the report of tho Chief Justice is Teceived on tho question of the payniont of a bonus to the members of the Post and Telegraph Service tho matter will be immediately referred to Cabinet and the bonus paid if recommended The Government will not oppose the recommendation of the Chief Justico should if. prow favourable to tho claims advanced.
