Tlio Wellington Technical College Cadets (No. 30/35 Company) hold .1 social in Dustin's _ rooms, Cuba Street, on Monday evening as n wind-up to a very successful year. About 100 were present, including several old boys. Captain M'Alistcr presided. The following toasts were honoured-.—"The Kins. "The Company/' "The Old Hoys," "Tim Group Staff," "The School," "Tho Teams," and "Kindred Companies." Jtems were contributed by Captain M'Alister, Lieut. Crane, C. S. M. Steptoe, Corporal Twiss, Corporal Car\vell-Cool;e, Cadet Bell, Mr, Scott, and Mr. Keyes. A quartet of violin, flute, mandoliii, and piano, by Sergeant and Corporal Uutcher, Sergeant Kcycs, and "Mr. W. Armstrong, was much appreciated. Senior-Sergeant .Tames K. Simpson; of Greymouth, is at pre.-onl: on a holiday visit to Wellington. It was Senior. Serjeant Simpson's house which was tho subject of a dynamite outrage recently. Mr. ,1. ,1. M'Grath, who has been recuperating his health at Uotorua, has relumed to Wellington owing to tho serious illness of his father. His health has benefited by the treatment he received at tho baths, which ho hopes to continue later on,
