THE MOTUEKA SEAT
(From Our Speciul Correspondent.) Motueka, December 10. Mr. P. B. Lomax, Liberal candidate, addressed a largo meeting liero last evening. Towards the end tho meeting became very noisy. A motion of thanks and confidence was lost.
Mr. A. C. Holms, Independent Itanacratic candidale for IMaslerton, addressed a meeting at I'ongaroa 011 Tuesday evening, Mr. John M'Jnlyiv, Last evening Mr. Holms sjioke at Kaitnwn, s!r. A. Stevenson presiding. A vote of thanks was paused, and also a motion that the candidate was well qualified to represent the people ill I'.irl anient. In the telegraphed report of the speech of Mr. A. C. Holms at Alfred ton, it was stated that the candidate made a strong appeal in support of the group headed by Colonel Mitchell, Messrs. Veitch, Holland, and Stewart. The name Holland should have real Poland.
